Black Voters on the Rise (BVOTR) prepares voters for elections by engaging volunteers on Election Day. BVOTR equips voters with information needed to advance voting rights and support Black political participation.
BVOTR works to advance voting rights and support Black political participation year-round. BVOTR engages volunteers to monitor what is going on locally and our response teams engage with local partners to advocate for change, inform the public of measures that suppress the vote, and refer to our litigators the matters that need to be challenged in court. BVOTR is part of LDF’s Strategic Initiatives Department.
